This vacancy requires you to work on national and international projects at the intersection of policy, measures, effects and data for governments and industry organisations. With your passion for the domain of transport and mobility, your work will focus on the areas of:

• infrastructure,

• logistics and physical distribution,

• sustainable mobility visions and greening.

You do this based on the belief that good research delivers meaningful results, provides insight into effective mechanisms of policy, and results in useful advice for the (further) development of transport and mobility policy. These policies, addressing arising issues, demand a nuanced understanding of a broad spectrum of environmental factors, and this is precisely what Panteia provides – so that clients can make responsible decisions and policy choices.

As a Consultant, you are on top of developments in (European) society and you know exactly what drives our clients and what they need. Your focus will be on:

• writing quotations and devising research designs;

• managing junior and medior researchers;

• conducting quantitative and qualitative research;

• maintaining, identifying and exploiting opportunities in your network and in the market, both in the Netherlands and in Europe;

• writing accessible research reports;

• Collaborate with colleagues from our other expertise teams and our sister company MuConsult.

We are looking for someone who is

You are analytically strong and quality-oriented. Your exceptional writing skills enable you to articulate valuable policy advice for our clients. The satisfaction you derive from developing accessible end products based on thorough research speaks to your dedication in providing tangible assistance to our clients. Your wealth of experience in research serves as a robust foundation, ensuring a depth of knowledge in your contributions

Requirements:

• a completed HBO or Master's degree;

• At least 5 years of experience as a policy researcher, project leader or consultant, during which you have gained experience with:

o Experience in conducting independent qualitative and quantitative research;

o Ability to work on projects under time pressure

o writing quotations and research proposals;

• Excellent command of Dutch and English at a professional level.

• Willingness to travel, especially to Brussels
